Peacock Visual Arts Open Call

Peacock Visual Arts (Peacock) would like to invite proposals from artists, curators and organisations.

Peacock is the leading contemporary visual arts organisation in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland. It is a place that brings artists and the public together through exhibitions‚ events‚ talks, residencies‚ film screenings‚ gigs and workshops to make and present art in exciting and innovative ways.

Peacock has three main areas of activity: exhibitions, printmaking and digital fabrication. We welcome proposals for all three areas.

The opportunity will carry pay/fees.

All proposals should include the following:

• Your name & contact details
• Biography (100 words max. Additional CV is optional)
• Project description (500 words max.)
• Schedule (with desired date/s if any and any other key dates)
• Budget outline
• Visual supporting material

Do you want to work at one of Aberdeen’s biggest festivals!

Dancers, singers, performers, there are many ways you can get involved. How about taking part in one the summer courses? Or participating in a community opera and performing at the festival?

There are also opportunities to expand your CV and work with the events team. There really is something for everyone.

Gray’s School of Art Degree Show 2015

The 2015 Gray’s School of Art Degree Show will open to the public from 20 – 27 June, celebrating 12 years of BP sponsorship.

The show is an annual highlight in the arts calendar, showcasing the work of our graduating students. Many of our graduates have gone on to become leading names in art and design, so the show is a great opportunity to view the work of tomorrow’s creative stars today.

This year, Gray’s School of Art is celebrating 130 years of raising creative profiles in the North East.

Opening times
June 20 – 27, 2015
Saturday and Sundays, 10.00am – 5.00pm
Monday to Friday, 10.00am – 8.00pm
