While this is a little late, we would like to wish you a Happy New Year! We seem to have swung into January and are now galloping towards its end – and with all the great things simmering for the year ahead, we are hoping that our members are keen to keep networking, collaborating and sharing ideas in order to continue to build the cultural community in the city and north-east.
The first Who, What, When, Where & Why of the year takes place at Upstairs at O’Neils, 9-10 Back Wynd, Aberdeen, AB10 1JN – meeting from 6.30pm with presentations starting at 7pm
Lots of great subjects and activities to hear about and hopefully get involved in – the following is the list of presenters so far, but there are still spaces available if people want 5 minutes (more or less) to chat about their ideas, creative plan, exhibition, show etc. Use the red links for further info..
Chris Croly from University of Aberdeen and Mark Bremner from ACC talking about the Silver City stories project, connecting people to their past through culture and creativity.
QuidsIn Theatre Company talking about lots of projects for 2017 but most imminent their musical production – Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens
One of the team from the new film production group Crow House Projects – crowhouse.co.uk

Kate Latham & Shane Strachan from Aberdeen City Creative Learning Team talking about their project Inspiration Points
As always – please do come forward with your ideas or if there is someone you would like to hear from, let us know. ABpositive is a member driven organisation, so please support – make the fantastic work go further, and the connections deeper and stronger.
